What is AuraRate?+
AuraRate is a rate my outfit app and fashion community. Post your OOTD or fit check, get honest ratings out of 10 from real people, and build your Aura Score, a public measure of your style that grows with every post. Learn more →
What is This or That on AuraRate?+
This or That lets you post two outfits side by side when you can't decide what to wear. People swipe to vote, you see the live result in percentages, and you get a notification with the final result when it closes. You choose how long it stays open: 12, 24 or 36 hours. Read the This or That guide.
Which outfit should I wear? How can AuraRate help me decide?+
Take a photo of both looks and post them as a This or That. Real people pick the one they like more, so in a few hours you know which outfit to wear. It works for dates, interviews, parties or just your outfit of the day.
How do I rate outfits on AuraRate?+
Scroll through the feed and tap the star icon on any outfit. Drag the slider to set your score from 1.0 to 10.0 and submit. Ratings are anonymous by default.
What is the Aura Score?+
Your Aura Score is the average of all ratings you've received across your posts. It appears on your profile and rises as more people rate your fits highly. Learn more →
Can I see who rated my outfit?+
Yes. Ratings are anonymous, but you can reveal a secret voter by watching a short video ad, with 3 free reveals every day. AuraRate Premium members get unlimited reveals with no ads. Learn more →
What do I get with AuraRate Premium?+
Premium unlocks unlimited reveals of who rated you, shows who picked which outfit in your This or That posts, and gives you the full breakdown of your ratings. Your posts also get more reach in Explore, you get a Premium badge on your profile, and all ads are removed.
Is AuraRate free to download?+
Yes. AuraRate is free on both iOS and Android. Premium is optional: choose a monthly plan you can cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play settings, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Is AuraRate available on Android?+
Yes. AuraRate is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), with the same experience on both.
Is AuraRate available in my language?+
AuraRate is available in 12 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Turkish and Japanese. If a caption or a This or That question is in another language, tap "See Translation" to read it in yours.
Are my ratings anonymous when I rate others?+
Yes. When you rate someone's outfit, your identity is hidden by default. The poster can only reveal it by watching a short ad or with Premium. Learn more →
What kind of outfits can I post?+
Any style is welcome: streetwear, formal, casual, athletic, vintage, GRWM, lookbook posts and everything in between. If it's a fit, it belongs on AuraRate. Learn more →
How do I get more ratings on my posts?+
Post regularly, use good lighting and a clean background, and rate other people's outfits too. Following creators and joining This or That votes brings more people to your profile. Learn more →
Can I follow people and chat on AuraRate?+
Yes. Follow creators to see their new posts in your Following feed, and message the people you follow. Your follower count is shown on your profile next to your Aura Score.
How do I report inappropriate content?+
Tap the three-dot menu on any post, This or That or profile and select "Report". Our moderation team reviews every report and removes content that breaks our community guidelines. You can also block users from their profile.
